de Man Automation + Service GmbH & Co. KG has been supporting the 1st women's handball team of HSG Werther/Borgholzhausen for a long time, currently even as a jersey sponsor. Pictures of the team with the eye-catching de Man logo on the chest are already hanging in the entrance area of the automation specialist from Borgholzhausen, but a jersey has been missing so far. Sven Hädrich, coach of the first women's team, brought this over and took the opportunity to discuss current developments with Tobias and Sebastian de Man. After a small false start to the season, the young team has recovered well and is currently in the top half of the table. The women finished last season - also wearing the de Man jersey - in second place in the table and only narrowly missed promotion to the association league. The HSG women also took second place in the district cup at the beginning of January. So the new jerseys seem to bring good luck. In addition to the current match operations, the planning of the new season is already being worked on at the same time. Certainly, the HSG can also count on the support of de Man. With the jersey sponsorship, the specialist for individual automation solutions wants to promote sport in the region, which can give young people in particular new perspectives and fun in performance and exercise. “Handball stands for team spirit and commitment – central values that correspond ideally with the self-image of our company,” says sales manager Sebastian de Man.
