Support for regional sports
de Man sponsors HSG Werther/Borgholzhausen: The 1st women's handball team at HSG Werther/Borgholzhausen has been playing in new jerseys with the de Man logo on the chest for some time. The specialist for automation technology from Borgholzhausen is once again committed to regional sports. "We are happy to make a contribution to supporting sports clubs in our area and encouraging young people," says Sales Manager Sebastian de Man. And the new jerseys seem to have brought luck, because the young team - the average age is just under 20 years - is currently in second place in the "Landesliga". The final game of the season will take place on May 6th at 4 p.m. in the PAB sports hall in Werther. Even promotion to the "Verbandsliga" is still possible, because it is currently still unclear whether leader VFL Sassenberg will claim promotion or not. Coach Sven Hädrich hopes that the subsequent celebration of the end of the season will also be a promotion celebration for the young women of the HSG. It would be a double promotion celebration, because the 3rd men's team has already achieved this goal. With the shirt sponsorship, de Man wants to make a contribution to promoting sport in the region, which can give young people in particular new perspectives and fun in performance and exercise. "Handball stands for team spirit and commitment - central values that correspond ideally with the self-image of our company," says Sebastian de Man. The company is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and is developing automation solutions (particularly robotic systems) for customers throughout Germany at its headquarters in Borgholzhausen. By the way: Due to the excellent order situation, de Man would like to expand further - all current job offers are on the website! Further information: www.deman.de and www.hsg-webo.de
